Enterprise
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Children need a variety of ‘real life’ skills in order thrive in the global economy. Enterprise learning enables children to think critically and creatively about real world problems, and can open minds to a world of possibilities.
At Al Salam Community School, our children learn about the benefits of building an idea into a concept, and then creating a plan to launch this concept into a product. We encourage our students to be entrepreneurial in their thinking so they can experience the excitement and challenges of running a business.
Students have an opportunity to plan a product or a service and to make a pitch to investors. This involves careful financial planning, and market analysis.
We want all of our students to have the experience of running a business whilst at school so they can learn about employability, team work, communication and problem solving, and gain credentials for this.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
